Only if you get the hammer nearly reamed to complete depth and side load ( bend ) the reamer. I have several drill chucks that I salvaged from dead drill motors. They make good reamer holders to ream by hand. A cordless drill held carefully and run at slow speeds should be safe.

I am thinking about buying this and then attaching this to my socket screw driver. What does side load the reamer mean?

That will work by hand or driven by a driver handle. Side loading is any force on the tool that is not directly in line with the axis of the reamer and the hole being sized. Like tipping the bit to lean it instead of holding it straight in line with the hole.
