My goal is to sell this gun, should I sell As-Is or purchase vintage plastic grips and Arched MSH? Good source for these or just EBAY? I will remove the trigger shoe. The Pachmayr grips show no evidence of trimming. This was my fathers sidearm (Major US Army) used for 3 tours in Vietnam, he was Special Forces, Artillery, Intelligence in Psyops. I just don't have a need for this sort of thing and I have plenty of other of his wartime kit. When I sell should I include the providence of the gun?

None of your eBay linked items are USGI.

Hard to say, if you sell as is, people know what that is will discounted the price with incorrect parts. But you never know, if you can tie the pistol to some documentation of your fathers service, it might be fine as is.

These USGI parts instead, more expense though.

      Adfundum,

      Welcome to the Forum !

Have you had your Fathers items for Long ? If not, it might help to keep All of them for a few years. ? If you sell the Pistol,...It will be virtually impossible to get IT Back !

      Best Regards,
