    Hey Everyone, I am pretty solid on modern weapons but trying to figure out a price on a Colt 1911 U.S. Army 1942 piece is way over my head. The range of prices on these things are insane so I figure I should try the experts. Any help on an appraisal on this one would be appreciated. Thank you!

    Gents, I have an Ithaca 1911A1 from WWII, serial number 1213XXX that is supposedly part of a batch of 5,000 pistols that were consigned to the OSS for delivery to partisans prior to D-Day. Is there anyway to prove this? Thank You for your help.
