Does anybody know anything about the Auto Ordnance 10mm, I have someone wanting to trade me straight across for my Para GI Expert with fiber front sight.

The AO is a blued slide with a nickle frame, from my research it looks like an older gun and I was told it is tight and shoots good.

Don't know as my 1911 10mm pistols are from Colt and DW. Good news is I bought a couple boxes of Aluminum cased Blazer in 10mm. Have not shot it yet but if you don't reload maybe a good way to try out the pistol.

Not a big AO fan. Do you have use for a 10? Do you have several 1911's in 45? 10 is a lot harder to come by and more expensive to plink with if you don't reload. I enjoy hammering some hot 10's now and then but I can reload it hot or mild . What is that Para worth cash money?

I just went to the Auto Ordnance web site and they don't list the 10mm for sale. Maybe it's discontinued. If that's the case, maybe down the road the AO 10mm might be worth a little more than a Para GI Expert.

Trust me, if they were good selling guns, AO would still be making them.,AO's do not become rare and desirable. Can't hardly give them away.?try to trade on into a dealer and your lucky if he will even entertain the idea. If keep the Pars.?get a Colt Delta. Expensive yes, very desireable and will hold its value. Dealers that have new ones on order have been on the list for 2+ years.

The words "Auto Ordnance" and "quality" should never be in the same sentence.
