does anyone know if this is still a problem , i was doing some research on 10mm and it sounds like the colts and rugers were having this problem when they first came out. im looking at getting a fusion 10 mm longslide , do they have recoil buffers to stop the slide slamming the frame? ive narrowed it down to two 1911s the fusion 10mm or a sti longslide .45 targetmaster.

If you go with Fusion talk to Bob about your concerns. They can build you a 10MM with a strong mainspring and recoil spring, EGW Flat Firing Pin Stop and use a 6" slide to help slow the slide down if you are going to shoot a steady diet of hot 10MM. Me, I just don't shoot hot 10MM anymore. Age and experience I guess.
