As I've posted before, I recently picked up a Springfield Armory "Loaded" stainless in .45 caliber. I'm curious... what kind of accuracy should I expect from this gun? At 50 feet, I've been getting groups of just under 4 inches, which is somewhat disappointing. With my Sig Sauer P266 at the same range, I often get groups of under 2 inches. Am I just hard to impress?

Not great...if it doesn't get better after a couple hundred, you could contact SA and talk to them about it. Maybe they'll tell you to send it in and they can get that a little better for you.

Gyp_c's right about putting a few more rounds down range to break it in.

You then may want to experiment with different factory loads (or reloads) to see what gives you better accuracy. I can change my group size by 1" just by changing brands of ammo in some cases.
