If you have been looking to purchase a 1911 Enhanced, I would suggest stopping at your Sportsmans Warehouse. They have the black and stainless at the lowest price I have ever seen.
Thanks for the info but I'd better pass. Sportsman's Warehouse and Remington mail in rebates have been killing my budget, I've bought three different Remington 1911s over the last few months!
I got the R1, R1S and R1 Commander. That should do it. I prefer the classic models but am glad Remington offers the Enhanced and Carry models for those who need modern upgrades or get hammer bite with the short beavertail.
