Hey Gang,
Thinking that holster and carry wear on your 1911's give the handgun........"Character" Let's see pictures of your well used Beauties!
Here's mine, Note: Looks better in the pic, than in the flesh

Here's mine with the most wear. 25 year-old Delta Elite. Can't see it here so well, but some wear on the sharp edges - the top of the slide and the front strap aren't as dark-colored as they once were.

Spent a lot of time inside the pants in back or on the passenger seat.

Sorry you're not getting much participation. Here are few guys on the forum you should invite to the party. They've all got some well worn pistols that they have shown on the forum.

Black Majic, Emerson, Christian James, sshbiker, Greyson, Sheepdog 910, USMC 0802.

Hard chrome and Cerekoat even after 12 years just don't show much wear. The stainless gun I alternate doesn't show wear either. :( sorry, I too also enjoy looking at guns like Greyson's but if Bear put something durable on his guns that was durable they wouldn't show much wear either.

Delta Kilo,

That is one nice looking well used Brown.

Here's mine showing her backside...

I also have a Concept VIII, but the stainless doesn't show wear as much.

VERY-VERY NICE PISTOLS GUYS!!!.....Keep-em coming!
I'm sure each one could tell a story or two.
Like the first time mine shot it's 1st. USPSA match. It worked flawlessly, but the gun handler needed some more range time!

A well used 1911 with the finish worn off of the corners is a beautiful thing. I used to fret over finish wear but now I just smile. That Baer is exactly my idea of a real 1911 that is not a safe queen.

Yeah, mine isn't so much worn in as it is scarred from a life of tough challenges. She's a good gun, though.

Nice Looking Baer Sheepdog! Who makes that rail attachment for your light?
I've bee trying to find a decent one and that looks like it works good.
Do you have to use a different slide stop to hold it?
