Here is the problem, a friends commander is shooting the brass straight up, and maybe a little to the right but not much. I tried to adjust the ejector, I think I messed it up. The pictures look like the end is round but it isn't it IS pointed. Is there anyway that I can fix it and which way should move the point up or down?

Also if you look the ejector from the top I cut a angle to the right side, should I have or should it be parallel to the breechface?

The load is 4.1 of 700x OAL 1.25 and chrono at 688ish with a 12 pound spring. Yes it's light but that's what he likes.

Make sure the extractor is properly tensioned and not "clocking" or rotating in it's channel. then try here:http://www.brazoscustom.com/magart/ejection perfection.htm Got my Commander ejecting very well!

Sorry I forgot to mention that, it is not cloocking and the tension seems to be good.

My 1911 sometimes sends brass up and into my forehead. The smith that I take my gun to said to replace the recoil spring with an 18 pound variable. I'm going to try that and see what happens.
