Here's a couple of quick, and crappy, pictures. I need to clean it and set up outside, when it's not raining, to take a few pictures.

Best I can tell original finish, all correct/original parts including the barrel.

I can see that one barrel lug is hitting below the bowtie on one side down low, I don't plan to shoot it much but I'd hate to break the barrel lug off, would it be a mistake to fix an issue like this or should I leave it ?

Congratulations on a nice find. It's a collector's item so don't screw with it. About the only thing you need to do is take it completely apart and take care of the rust that's starting to form, some of which I can see around the mag button.

One thing I find sort of odd is it does not appear that the slide stop notch was not hardened on this particular slide, and others I have seen pictures of are with serial numbers prior to mine ?
