Has anyone tried a Marvel or Wilson .22 conversion kit on an Ed Brown? Do they require special fitting? I read somewhere that due to tighter tolerances on high quality guns, the conversion kits may not fit. Can they cause any kind of damage to the frame? Are there any reasons why these wouldn't be a good idea?

I've got a Wilson marked Ciener unit I've used on my KC several times. No problem sliding on. It's really nice to be able to use .22 ammo with your carry gun's feel and trigger.

I have a Marvel Unit 1 on my Wilson CQB and have not had any problems. The kits are made of aluminum and they should not cause any damage to the frame, I have not seen any wear marks on my frame. I would highly recomend the Marvel, either the unit 1 or 2. I hear Ciener makes a good product but I only like purchasing the best so I went with the Marvel.
