I am looking for advice to a install 22lr conversion on my nrm colt.
I am fairly new to shooting the 1911 and looking for a 22 lr. conversion for plinking. Can I install these on the series 80 guns? If so which one is recommended? Where would be the best place to purchase one and what if any modifications needed?
I tried to search for a thread on this but didn't find one hope I am not asking redundant questions.
Thanks.

There are several conversions out there that will work on a series 80. I have a Kimber .22 conversion that was made by Ciener. It works great with the "platted" .22s, but chokes on the lead. If I clean it, no prob.

There a lot of cheap fun.
