I have a model 99 300 savage ...haven't loaded for it in awhile.. ckd one case and it measured 1.851. Hornady #9 said case trim length is 1.861. Can I still use these cases being shorter than trim length?

Sometimes new brass comes short for some reason.

That's only .010" shorter than trim-to. No big deal. Load and shoot.

I've used brass as much as .100" shorter than trim-to but only for cartridges with a rather long neck. 300 Savage has a short neck but .010" won't hurt at all.
