Will the 9mm Luger shell plate in a 550 Dillon work with the .38 Super Comp (rimless .38 Super) or is it necessary to use a .223 shell plate??

Thanks.

I don't know about the 550, but I'm able to use the 9mm shellplate on the 650 with 38 Super Comp brass. Rarely I'll have a case push out of the shellplate, but it's rare. If you have the 9mm shellplate already, give it a try.

Don't know about the 550 and 650, but from the SDB press I have, I used to use the 9mm shell plate for the 38 SC, and it caused the plate to go bad prematurely, the upper lip of the groove would get curled up and rounded off because the 38 SC rim is a little too small for that plate.
