I want to load up a batch of 38 special +P. I'm using the 110 gr Speer Gold Dot JHP. My powder is Win231.

I'm a bit concerned over the discrepancies I see in the reloading data between Speer, Winchester, and Lyman. I'm seeing over 200 ft/s difference for the same powder charge. Also max charge is 0.7 grains different between the two. Check out the attached image.

Anyone out there have a successful load using this powder and a 110 gr JHP?

I do find that Lyman typically suggests much higher charges than both the powder and the bullet manufacturers.
