Yes, with a proper barrel it can be done. Nowlin makes such a beast with a comp. I believe Kings also makes an extended ported barrel for the OACP. Neither would be worth it in my opinion. The gun just doesn't kick that bad. Ya pays yer money and ya takes yer chances.
4" bbl. on an Officers Model
Can anyone tell me if this is possible or if you have done this.
Can you fit a 4" BarSto barrel on a 3 1/2" Officers Slide and have the half inch sticking out past the bushing Magna-Ported?
Would this give you better ballistics with reduced recoil? I would like the consealability of an Officers Model with the punch of a Commander.

Yes, King's Gunworks makes an extended OACP barrel that is already ported. I think they sell it in kit form, with a recoil spring guide rod, plug, etc.
