.40 in STI .45 magazines?

I have found a great deal on some STI magazines, but only in .45. The gun I need them for is a .40 though. Is there anyway to modify the .45 mags to work in the .40?

Yes, you can modify them, but would I trust them for a match or my life, no way. Buy em and sell them/swap them for the .40 mags or save your money and look for the .40 mags. Personally, I would buy the .45 mags and build/buy a .45 at some point, always need an excuse to buy a .45. good luck, DC
