I have a Ballester Molina that functions flawlessly. But, when I installed a .400 corbon barrel, I had a problem with pierced primers. Shot 2 rounds and had 2 pierced primers. Since I was using Corbon ammo, I contacted them to see if there was a problem with the batch, they said no. They recomended I try using a stiffer recoil spring so I went from 17lb to 21lb. Same outcome.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I hope they know more about ammo than how the gun functions. The recoil spring will not affect pierced primers. I would guess that either the primers are soft, or the pressure is too high for you gun. Probably both. Aside from the piercing, what do the primers look like?
