i just bought some of these from a local gun shop? can anyone tell me the difference between these and the regular 230 gr. golden sabers? the only difference i can see is the model number with the addition of "G" (GS45APBG) while the standard load is (GS45APB).

well, i emailed remington and this is what they said:
"This simply means that this ammo meets government specifications. The
ballistics information would be the same. We hope this
information is helpful and we appreciate your visit to Remington Country."

I've seen the issue Gold Sabre in 50 round boxes marked "GS45APB". Same stuff.

Remington does market a Bonded version but that's a different round.

Who sells the "bonded" version? The reason I ask is because, every photo I see of a spent Golden Saber, the jacket has seperated from the core. Thats a big no no. Sam
