I've been hearing about this for a while, and am getting WILDLY different answers.
Here in Texas on 9/1/2005 a bill was passed that says if you are travelling in a vehicle you may carry a loaded handgun in the vehicle, as long as it is concealed. You do not need a concealed carry license. (You can't be a criminal, gang member....ect.)
It seems that some folks don't want to recognize this though. I've heard one report of the Harris County DA saying that he will continue to bring in and persecute people who are found doing this.
My question is, How could that happen??? If the bill passed, then I would think that it's a nonissuse. Am I wrong?
