anyway...what is your favorite ammo to shoot through one of these....This will mostly be used for target shooting.

Thanks

Bronco, You need to shoot it with various types, brands, weights ect. Shoot it off the bench to find out which one is the most accurate in your wifes particular pistol. You will find one that groups better than others. If you can live with the price and accuracy of the ammo it likes best then you are there. If not it's reloading time. Since you are talking target shooting hardball is cheapest way to go. My .02. Good shooting

Thanks Shoepop...I agree about trying different types, brands etc...

But...to be honest...I have zero experience with 9mm . I don't even know what the common weights are for 9mm... What would be good to start with?

thanks

Bronco, Most common 115 grain, 124 grain some shoot 147 grain. Stick with 115 and 124 FMJ to start much cheaper than Hollow points. Just grab a box of commercial stuff (stay away from military surplus) All major manufacturers make a budget line IE: Winchester white box, Remington UMC, CCI Blazer, Sellier & Bellot,Federal American Eagle, Black Hills ect. I know I missed a bunch but the above should be available pretty much anywhere. One of the above will shoot in your wifes Commander. You may find the pistol will not shoot to point of aim. I have a pre 70 series 9MM LW Commander that shoots 3" low @ 15 yards with all brands even reloads. Don't be discouraged the board will help you on that if that is the case. Good shooting.
