Okay, makes sense. So 9mm NATO is like +P or +P+? Maybe would cause accelerated wear and tear but wouldn't be dangerous for, let's say, a commercial SIG P228 or P239.

Pardon my ignorance but isn't the NATO stuff design for use in carbines and thus unsafe in pistols. I thought the pressures are too high??? Any truth to this?
