Just purchased a NIB STI Wasp model. It is in 9mm and it is a blued Trojan with a stainless barrel and intregal comp. This thing is really sweet to shoot. NO recoil at all with factory 9mm and very accurate gun with factory ammo. Went through 200 rounds today with no problems and I used WW-115grain, Fed 124gr, and Fed 147 gr. The lighter weights all went a bit low from point of aim and the they all went left a few inches of POI at 15 yards. It is a Heinie rear sight and I think I am going to try the new combat adjustable sight STI just came out with. Does anyone else have one of these models?? The Wasp?? Seems as it is now discontinued from the main product list.

Nice!

I like my 9mm 1911 also, albeit less fancy than yours:

I have a WASP and it is a lot of fun to shoot.

It makes a heck of a lot of noise, and is extremely accurate.

Glad I got the last one on STI's shelf, although there has been a new one on Gunbroker.com for a while.
