The latest edition to the family is a BeeUtifull NIB Commander 22xx LW in 9MM Luger. Great bluing, plastic grips, brown box, gold label, wax paper. Why oh why do I buy 1911's that just sit in the safe?

Now that I'm done bragging, how many of you would shoot it???

Decision making at its best!

Regards,

Roger

Roger I have a couple of nice guns that I bought used and I shoot them as often as possible... but if it had never been fired I don't know if I would fire it or not. Like you said this is decision making at its best.

That sounds like a really nice piece of machinery.

Would I shoot it? I admit to being somewhat of a Philistine in that regard. I do not buy guns that I don't intend to shoot. I told one of my friends that I intend to buy a Luger, and turn it into a smoothbore. He almost fainted.

Know the feeling. Had a NIB Colt SAA 2gen, bought it as an investment. Already had one that was my Grandfathers. So, I had an idea how it would shoot. Took it out of the safe for a second handgun at a cowboy shoot and haven't looked back! No regrets.
