Are there any parts of this state where open carry isn't allowed? Any towns I need to watch out for, or areas where the 2nd Amendment suddenly becomes meaningless? The Grand Canyon comes to mind as that's a place I plan on visiting soon, but I may have time to see the rest of the state and I wouldn't like to "upset the locals."

Thanks in advance!

Indian reservations come to mind.

There is an exception if you are on a federal highway that happens to pass through a reservation (say that you are pulled over on the highway for a violation), but beyond that, you are at their mercy.

Every time a city has passed a law that attempts to restrict firearm possession, it has been struck down if it does not do something already regulated by state law. In general, do not carry on government property, in a bar, on the reservations or any private property that is posted 'no firearms' and you are fine.
