Anyone know how this is accomplished? It doesn't tell in the manual, and this trigger is supposed to be adjustable for pull weight. It's at 4 lbs. right now, which is fine for most target shooting, but today I started shooting past 400 yds with this gun, and noticed that it could stand to be lightened up a bit, preferably in the 3.0 - 3.25 lb. range. I have an RCBS pull weight tool, I'm just not familiar with Remington's new trigger. BTW, it's on a Remington M700 SPS-V.
I'm getting a Jewell trigger for it as soon as I can afford to get a new stock for it, so if adjusting this trigger is going to be a real pain, I'll just wait on the new one. I think I have a Timney lying around here somewhere that I had in a Remington Model 7 7mm-08 that I sold a few years ago, do the model 7's use the same trigger as the 700's? I'm sure they probably do, but I better ask anyways.
Thanks in advance!
