I will be picking up my new Custom Target with adjustable rear sights on Saturday. Any advice on what to use from break in ammo, or new magazine, or any advice at all would be nice.
thanks all,
bob

bob,

Do give us a range report when you get yours.

I ordered my Custom Target on Tuesday... should see it in 4-5 weeks.

Break it in with stock ball ammo from federal, PMC or other major manufacturers. 500 rounds ought to settle the gun in. The consensus seems to be that by 1000 rounds, the gun is broken in. Mine was settled in by 300 rounds.

I use Wilson 8 round power mags, they're very nice. My 7 round stock mag works well too.

Well quality Ball ammo is a good way to go, I have a Kimber Stainless Custom Target and it eats everything I have fed it. Factory Ball the works, my reloads etc..
