Anyone using VZ Alien Grips on their Les Baer? Pics? How do they fit?

I have seen them on many Baers. They look good but aare going to show some frame. The customer service person at vz told me the simonich gunner was there best fit on a Baer . D

Not VZ's, but a close second.

I bought a set of "off brand" grips from this guy on Ebay. Fit and finish are great and the best part, they're cheaper than VZ's. He has all sorts of styles and color options.

Does anyone know the specs on the UTC/TRS grips, in terms of thickness? I do not have a set of calibers to get a precise measurement. But, I hear they are a bit thinner than VZ's Slim grips.

I like them a lot. Just the right amount of "grippy-ness" for me.

Dumb question but aren't all the VZ grips the same size?

I think VZ actually offers a separate Baer cut for the wider frame.

Not anymore at least. I wrote them and this is the reply I received to my question, "Do you make grips cut wider for Les Baer 1911s?":

The
widest grip that we offer is our Gunner style. I will attach a link to it
for you below. The rest of our styles are just a hair thinner in profile
(most customers don't even notice a difference as we are talking
thousandths of an inch). Hope you have a great Wednesday : )
