I've been a right handed shooter my entire life. I was recently forced to switch to my left due to nerve damage rendering my trigger finger inop. What are the pros/cons of an ambidextrous safety and will it shave presentation time? I'm currently carrying "locked and cocked" with my safety engaged as I am not comfortable with using single action over a live round. I'm nowhere near as fast with my left as I was with my right but that's to be expected and is unavoidable. I am simply looking to shave the nanoseconds in difference everywhere I can. Thanks in advance
