hey guys!i just wanted to say hello and thanks for all the great info about "chucks"
on this forum.i've been reading it for several months and finally decided to join the club.i bought my FS about 8 months ago
and have put over 500 rds thru it.this is my first autoloader/1911 ever,i mostly collect
.357 magnums.the chuck is a great shooter
once you trash the funky factory mags.the only mod so far is i installed a 2-piece recoil rod & spring kit with a slotted comp on the end.it made a noticable difference!
i noticed that the f/p stop has some wiggle to it but so far no problems with ejection
or firing.should i leave it alone till it acts up or go ahead and replace the parts anyways?is there any big $$ damage if it does fail at the range?thanks for all your help.happy shootin'!
