out there?

I have a little problem with mine. After extended shooting, 100 rounds or so, a jam occurs in which the spent casing is lodged very tightly in the extractor.

After cleaning it side by side with an older 1911 of mine, I more clearly noticed how loosely the extractor and firing pin stop fit in the slide. The same parts from my older Springfield fit the same in both the Kimber and the Springfield slides.

My latest theory is that in an extended shooting session, the extractor rotates a small amount, but enough to be slightly canted in its hold on the casing rim and creating too tight a hold on it while extracting it from the chamber.

On the good side, this pistol is accurate. My best group so far has been at just over an inch at 25 yards.
