I bought myself a Beretta. Does that count?

Ditto I bought myself a new 870 does that count ;)

I am still thinking about buying my dad a new bolt action rifle... It is coming down to the wire between that or some new re-enactment stuff...

Well I bought myself an Inglis Hi-Power for my Birthday and Santa (me) is giving me a Win 30-30 - man I always wanted one for Christmas. Wife has ordered another Dillon powder measure, tool head & stand for my .45 Colt dies and a metal stand for my 550. Gosh I love that girl.

Think I'll buy her a new sewing machine she has all but wore out the pictures on the catalogue looking at it. She is very subtle.:)

Stay Safe and Please Don't Drink & Drive over the Christmas Holidays - your kids will love you for it.

I'm on the recieving end if that counts, my father helped me to buy my Kimber Tac-Pro II, but he won't let me have it till Christmas. My girlfriend is buying me a Milt Sparks Holster... She told me recently that as long as she can get new things I can have as many guns as I want!!! gonna quote somone else in this thread... "God I love that girl."

As soon as I get a steady income after college I probably will begin giving guns as gifts. Already have some ideas for my father and Girlfriend's father.

Christmas Giving

Mitrod-3,

You are very possibly 'DA' most real and gift-giving man of the season, and I'm glad that you're sharing the sport or passion - the freedom that we hold, oh - so close to our hearts. For me, and Christmas, it was a choice to trade up to MY first 1911, a Springfield Stainless GI, yep, the basic one in SS. Being single, and unattached at the moment (ladies, I'm one of the good guys!). I've competed with a (loaned) custom 1911, in the past, and this will likely be a lifelong love affair! (Hey, I'm not dating at the moment - why not spend some bucks on myself - this season!)

My girl got me a HK USPf 9mm.

I am getting her a designer purse.

I just recently got into shooting, so I am not about to give away the only 2 I have.
I do think it is great though that you are hooking up people who are interested in shooting.I wish I had friends that were that encouraging. Most of my friends think I am insane for even owning a single gun, now *gasp* a second one They think my two big dogs would take care of any intruders silly enough to break into my place.

Bought my folks a marlin 22 autoloader, my dad's already proficient with a Mil Spec(which I bought and "left" at their house) figure they could use something for pest control and repelling illegals' little kids that break into peoples' homes for drug money around here....

Wife an I are giving the future son-in-law Springer Mil-Spec. He has admired mine for quite some time so we decided to get one for him. He carries Sigs currently, his field is executive protection and i am sure he will eventually go with the .45 after he trains with it a while.
