I'm looking into finishes for a champion loaded i just ordered and was considering a two tone with a black chromes frame. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with black chrome or any pictures of a black chromed weopon. thanks

Had my Desert Eagle slide and barrel Black Chromed (bead blasted stainless frame)....very pleased with the results.

Wow -- that Desert Eagle looks awesome. I want to get one someday. Not too practical, but that's not what I'd get it for. Hell of a "car gun" though . Is yours a .50?

i can read .44 magnum on the slide. but i agree very cool gun. Completely impracticle but still very cool.

...forget who and where, but I was talked out of black chrome by a couple of weel respected smiths - please don't ask me to recite their metallurgy speaches - just know that I decided against it. Depending on how much work the gun will see, something like ROguard might make more sense.

...but yeah, that DE is a beauty either way!!

Love th look of that DE mind you.... if my Delta was stainless, I'd consider it as a viable refinishing option
