A friend told me that this company claims to machine the Wilson slides and frames. Does anyone have any experience or feedback on one of these guns and workmanship in the production, etc.
I'm fairly sure that Wilson's slides and frames are made by Jerico, the same company that makes them for Kimber and Chip McCormick.
I would be interested in learning more about Lone Star Armaments. From the prices listed on their website ( http://www.lonestararms.net/ ), they seem to be trying to compete with Les Baer and Rock River Arms.
I have a Dan Wesson with the Lone Star lower and a slide marked Dan Wesson EXP, I take that to mean experimental. Haven't had a chance to really work it out but the few rounds I put thru it were very satisfactory! This 1911 needs way more rounds ( very tight all over)!!
