These things keep jumping out at me, every time I pick up a mag!
There seems to be a strong case for a big-dot tritium on the front.
Anyone know if this could be milled to match a standard notch rear sight?
Best of both worlds?

I just shot my Kimber for the first time today since installing Ashley sights. Mine are the standard size tritiums. Very fast and easy to chew the center of the target out with. I could only shoot at 50' today since the outdoor range was closed for construction. I'm anxious to see how they are at 25 yards.

No not really the best of both worlds. The AO Sustem is just that a system. You will occlude too much target with a standard notch rear.

THe sight is set up to use the dot and its placement for near to far/distance shooting.
It takes some getting used to.

One caveat, the front sight does work well with a Novak Ghost Rear. I have tried a couple on other guys pistols. can't explain the mechanics of it but it runs well.

Don't recall who, but someone around here thought that an Ashley front with an MMC adjustable rear was a good combo as well. Supposodly in use by some IDPA types with good results.
