I have a Hillsdale P2 and a La Claire Mono. The La Claire Mono is a much better pistol.

I own five Hillsdales and one LeClaire. No problems w/ the former, but a couple minor problems w/ the latter. Nothing serious, just minor aggravations.

Bottom line: I will always go w/ a Hillsdale over a LeClaire, partly because of the lower prices of the older Hillsdales.

I have no idea.

Each of mine were made ~3yrs ago.

Zero complaints with any of them.

Are they tight ? Hell yes they are.

Is that a problem ? Nope.

Triggers feel on par with my very best 1911.

Best feeling thumb safety I've ever used.

Ordered two of them with 20 lpi checkering and love it. Grip traction is assured, allowing me to use smooth grips on carry guns.

Very, very accurate. Two are 1.5" guns. One is not, however, it shoots tight groups with ease.....even with my non-bullseye arse running it.

Very pleased with LBC quality.
