I was wondering what handguns have grip safeties.

The only ones that I know of are...

Springfield/HS XD pistols

Not a handgun, but I believe the Uzi has a grip safety.

Dear Drago,

While it's not a "safety" the H&K P7 has the squeeze cocking mechanism which prevents firing without the grip being held.

grip safeties

the original S&W M-40 and M-42 Airweight Centenials had grip safeties, and also came with a pin to disable it. S&W had several older models with one and the M-40/42 were called the "last of the lemon squeezers"

Marlin lever action rifles have a grip saftey. You must squeeze the lever toward the stock in order for the trigger to function.

Actually, that would have been the Luger P.06 with the grip safety. It was dropped for the P.08, although Mauser made some commercial Lugers with the grip safety after WWII.

I think the Astra 400/600 series have them.
