I have always wanted a high quality defense blade, but have always had a problem spending the $$.

Wondering what you recommend on a buget of under $100 for a defense folder.

I don't want a serrated edge, and I am looking for a 3" blade and something not too bulky becuse I wear it on my waistline, not in the pocket.

Thanks

Spyderco Delica with the polymer type scales (better grip than the metal ones, lighter and cheaper). @ 3 1/4" blade, VG10 steel, shaving sharp out of the box, reversible clip for right or left hand and at about $45.00 it's no big deal if you loose one. It's a pretty tough little knife.

I'll second Shike's suggestion of the Spyderco Delica. Great little knife for the money. I have one and have used it often the last year or so for opening packages, cutting line and tape etc - and I still have not had a need to sharpen it yet.
