I own a few blackhawks and they are great guns,I prefer the adjustable sights.
I have handled the ubertis and they are also well made and have very nice triggers,If I found the right deal I would probably chose the uberti.

I have Cimmarons, which are actually high grade Ubertis. I like them a lot. One is a .357magnum, the other a .45LC with a .45ACP cylinder. The Ubertis are a good pistol with interchangability with the Colt SAA.

I would go with Ruger. Heavy duty construction and free repairs for life. Uberti is not as well made as Ruger, Uberti also is not as strong as a Ruger and they usually need a bit of gunsmithing for timing/reliability issues. Cimmarons are higher standards of fit/finish Ubertis. The best birdshead singla action revolvers are Rugers. I have had ASMs, Ubertis, AWAs and Rugers. I still own, shoot and compete with the Rugers. I don't own anything else except Colt SAAs.
