I visited my favorite local gunshop looking for a Pro Tactcal. They had one and it felt great in my hand. While I was there I checked the used gun case and there I found my birthday present a Pro Shadow Limited Edition II. I didn't know about that model so when I got home I looked it up and did a search here. Based on how it felt in my hand and what I read I went back today and brought home my birthday present. They had the original box, paperwork even the hanging tag. Best part only $650.00 plus tax. YIPPEE!!!!!!!! :biglaugh:

I finally had a chance to shoot my new to me Kimber. It functioned flawlessly. It handled ball ammo with no hesitation and when I tried 185 grain hollowpoint the pistol never hiccuped. Also it is dealdy accurate. A friend told me it wasn't used, just broke in, I agree. I have a new carry gun!!

Yeah, we need pictures. I've never heard of a "Pro Shadow Limited Edition II". Is that the one with the flux capacitor and the Setzer valve? :biglaugh:
Actually it is the one with the fratzenhammer spur assembly. Here is a picture. Seems the Kimber Custom shop makes a limited run of pistols with certain features similar to SIG's gun of the month. The Shadow Pro has a black aluminum frame, blued slide, stainless hammer, trigger, grip and thumb safeties. The grips are like the Tacical series, black and silver.

Your correct it does have front strap checkering and mepro light night sights. It was produced in 2002.I just stumbled on this one at my favorite gun shop. I don't go there very often since my wallet can't take the pressure.

I agree, it looks like a Tactical Pro with a black frame. Only other differences are no ambidexxtrous safey and no magwell. It is a blast to shoot.

Forgot to mention it has an internal extractor.
