I 💚 blems!!! 😎(y)

My PARA Expert Lightweight Commander was a 'blem'. $400 NIB, and I got a $100 rebate. This has turned out to be one of the most reliable Commander-size pistols I ever owned or played with! All the bells and whistles that I spent a lot of time and money on for my others included!

And I've put a few more 'blems' on it myself since!

This is my blem Tisas 1911A1 U.S. Army. Note the difference in color between the slide and frame. Otherwise it's perfect in every way. I have yet to shoot it as I'm old and it's just been too darn hot.

I like it! 😍Looks like a typical USGI pistol. Some mid~late war Rem-Rands had a slight color mismatch between frame/slide/small parts fresh from the factory.

i certainly don't feel i have to feel like i have a second rate firearm, i am very surprised they haven't caught on faster. they may lack some refinement but they are built right, with enough attention to detail to make it hard to fault. i am happy to see them selling enough to keep them coming into the stores. i really wish i had the cash to pickup another to stick in the safe, i really expect the prices to rise to where they are just another 1911 in the show case. Tisas has been making 1911's for awhile and from reading reviews that stretch back quite a few years, it sounds like their quality has been steadily rising, maybe due to SDS Imports. they seem to want to pin a quality 1911 to their name. Springfield has been bringing in Croatian made guns for years with great success, Turkish guns are also working to prove their workmanship in firearms.

Purchased a tisas 1911 army model. I opened the box, loaded the two eight round mags it came with and 10 more mixed bag of blue and stainless 8 mags, also 7 round GI surplus from god knows were or when. That about 80 to 90 rounds of 230 grain factory ball, and 185 gr cast lead wadcutters, 5 grain bullseye. No cleaning, no oil, not even a wipe down every round, every mag, every load and bullet style functioned 100%. It's not as pretty as my stainless colt LW commander but runs every bit as well every time for $600 + less. Ya just gotta love it.
