Hey all, I finally bought my first 1911 on Friday, a brand new SA Park Mil-Spec. I have put about 250 rounds through it over the weekend. I absolutely love the gun, however, I feel that the trigger is a little heavy, I'm guessing 6 or 7 pounds. Does any one recommend a good smith where I can get a new trigger and hammer and maybe a new grip safety? Thanks!

you could try SA's custom shop. I hear good things from them

You could also remove the ILS and add a regular MS as that will help reduce the trigger pull

Congrads on the new SA blaster. You can do the trigger and hammer and MSH your self. Now the grip safety is another thing - you can do it - but you will have to cut and refinish the frame. It cost a few bucks to get it done. But as others have said if you must - then send it to SA custom. The work is warranteed and the cost is competitive.
