Hello all..

After lurking for a few months I've finally taken the plunge and now joined my second BB (the other being TFL). Anyway, I was using my pocket knife today and something dawned on me. I love the G-10 scales on the grip. Does anyone know a maker of G-10 1911 stocks? Also, can anyone think of a reason why G-10 wouldn't be a good stock material?

Thanks...
bkm...

I can't think of any reason why G-10 wouldn't work. It is the same material used to make printed circuit boards. The material itself is very temperature-stable
and solvent resistant. The only negative I can think of is that it is relatively soft in comparison to micarta or carbon fibre, both of which ARE used for grip panels.

Start marketing them!
