This one is coming out from the same importing sources as the Brazilian 1911's.

What were production years? Quality? Compatibility to BHP?

Price for blued from JLD will be $320. The "deluxe" is $398 and I dont know if it is SS or nickel plated. Is this a "jump and grab yours now" or money down the drain?

Hello. FM makes a licensed copy of the FN Hi Power and is produced in Argentina.

The ones I've seen in the past were well made and reliable as well as being accurate.

Finish did not compare to the FN and trigger pulls were not so great, but then the gun didn't cost as much, either.

I've heard of one case of frame failure, but this was possibly due to misguided deeds by a gunsmith.

Best.

Yep, Argentina, not brazil. Sorry about the goof. Thanks for the info - like you said, the price is definitely right even if it is not as finished inside and out as the real deal. A few thousand rounds through it would probably take care of that trigger.
