I bought 2 cans and sent one back, it goes on to thick for my liking and chips off, I think the Gun Kote may be a better product, I had it put on a checkered mainspring housing and it is wearing well.

The spray can suck. It goes on like concrete. I would like to try the pint cans in a spray gun. That would probably work much better. I did my slide with it and its held up pretty well although you can see the wear on the edges aftyer 2 years.

I didn't have any problem applying it with the spray can, but agree that it wears pretty quickly. Sharp corners will be shiny after a dozen draws froma holster. For a house gun or car gun, one that doesn't get drawn, it is a good finish, but I wouldn't put it on a carry or competition gun.
