I just received my FN HP from CDNN. What a bargain! I thought I had ordered the grips too but I didn't receive them, nor was I charged. Anyway, I don't care for the grips. While searching the net, I found the classic Browning grips with the thumbrest. Will these fit the FN gun? Also, they don't seem to be real popular, what's the scoop?

I might just go with Gunners Grips.

Yes, they will fit. Browning is owned by FN, so all Browning HPs were made by FN. As far as I know, the only difference between Browning guns and FN guns is the quality of the finish and the rollmarks. The parts all come off the same line. As for why the thumbrest grips aren't popular, I don't know. I happen to like mine.
