I asked about this a while ago, but didn't get anywhere. Maybe there's some new blood out there? Anyway, I don't seem to be able to scare up any C&R Hipowers. I don't really know the market for these guns, but it seems to me there should some around by now. Maybe they're all being hoarded by collectors?

I've never seen or heard of one, but you're right, if the HP has been around since 1935, there should be some C&R qualified ones lying around. Did you check the ATF C&R list? I'm way to tired to puruse that thing. My guess is that any C&R eligible hp would be a serious collector item and long since snatched up. Would be nice for a big lot of them to open up, like the sistemas out there now. LAter.

I'm going by the BATF ruling that anything made before 50 years ago qualifies (assuming it doesn't come under other regs like the NFA). I guess there just aren't enough non-collectible Hipowers of that vintage around yet. Oh, well.
