It's like the fingerpad is too "tall", I've never had a problem with other manufacturers 1911's like this, but this is my first Baer.
The trigger functions fine and I don't think the trigger bow is the problem. The fingerpad is getting stuck when I try to push it backwards through the frame to remove it. I took it to our local little "45 shop" here in Parkersburg but he said that he'd never seen this particular problem and since it didn't really bother me too much we decided to leave it alone. Just curious if anybody knew about it.

If the trigger made it in, it's got to be able to come out.

I would suggest you see where the pad is contacting the frame in the trigger raceway.

Novak's, that explains it. Why should THEY know how to remove a trigger? :biglaugh: Those Baers are tight suckers!

Atilla, please do not take this as an afront as I do not know your level of 1911 gunsmithing, the magazine catch has to be removed in order for the trigger to slide out. Was this done?
