After firing 50 rounds witht the new toy, (.45) I noticed much more residue on the pistol than I am used to seeing on a .40 Glock. Maybe its just me, but does CCI ammo put off that much more residue than Magtech?

185 FMJ in a Glock .40 small frame

I use plenty of Blazer, brass and aluminum. The last case I bought blew ash everywhere, just like you're saying. Never had that problem before,so I think it was one lot that slipped by QC.

Still shot fine though.

with aluminum cci blazer 230 ball, i get a lot of black flakes on my forearm. with any ammo after a long session, the gun seems just as dirty and just as easy to clean.
The Blazer 230gr hp are also fairly dirty. I love the CCI Blazer Brass. Cleaner than WWB and also cheaper at Natchez with 10 boxes or more.
