I saw an interesting rig a couple days ago. It was a kydex holster that sat over the sternum with the muzzle pointed up toward the left shoulder. The gentleman wearing it couldn't remember the maker, but said he was located in or around Olympia or Tumwater Washington. Anyone know who makes a rig like this?

Survival Sheath Systems makes a Kydex rig that kind of fits your description also there is product called the Chest Raider that conceals a holster and holds a radio or cell phone.

Way back in the early 1980's Tom Campbell, who then worked for S&W, used a chest rig in IPSC competition and did extremely well (especially since he was shooting "minor" caliber). This carry mode never caught on. No wonder. It is highly specialized.
